PrimaLoft® sport is lightweight, breathable and offers superior water repellency, so you remain dry, warm and comfortable even under the most extreme conditions. It uses a microfiber structure to help the body retain warmth and conserve energy. The PrimaLoft® insulation core creates millions of air spaces suspended in the microfiber mesh. These air spaces are so fine that water drops bead on the surface. Even when forced into the PrimaLoft® core, water is repelled and not absorbed by the microfiber structure, so PrimaLoft® keeps you warm even under wet conditions.

Terrex Skyclimb Insulation Jacket 2 is rated out of 5 by 3.
Rated 5 out of 5 by Michael Silitch from great endurance puff ball (front only) layer! I just took this jacket to the Alps to ski the Haute Route. I wore it as a layer piece under my Adidas softshell. The Skyclimb insulation jacket is is unique as it has insulation only in the front torso and not in the back or arms. It added great warmth, but also has a great athletic fit and is good on its own for endurance sports.. So you don't get over hot in it, yet it keeps you toasty when moving fast, like for cycling or skiing. The chest pocket is also super functional for a phone, camera, snack or anything else you need quick access to. This is a unique, highly functional athletic jacket!

Rated 4 out of 5 by Jeff M from Well thought out I used this piece for the first time while competeing in Power of Four Ski Mountaineering Race a few days ago. I chose the skyclimb jacket because at the 6am start i wanted a little warmth on my stomach and chest and in the afternoon i wanted the arms and back to be very breathable and light. This jacket did exactly that. The jacket held up extremely well and met all my performance needs. I'm excited to have this jacket in my rotation. The reason why I didn't give it 5 stars is because I feel the sleeves are a tad too long and baggie. I don't see them as an issue, but there's a little too much material.

Rated 5 out of 5 by Western sloper from Favorite Adidas jacket so far This is my favorite piece of Adidas wear so far. I am 6'2', 180 and I went with a medium. I use it as a midlayer and it fits snug but that is what I was looking for. Arms are plenty long for me in this size. Obviously if you want it to fit more than a baselayer under, then jump a size. I have been climbing in this item and it seems plenty durable so far.
